Dr. Lu and her team did a great job treating me. I’ve been to different foot care specialist but my problem persisted. That was until I got in touch with Dr. Lu. She also has a friendly, organized, and attentive staff. I’m healed, but if something else arises I would definitely go back! Great job team!

I completely recommend Dr. Sherry Lu and Charlotte Foot Care Associates. The office staff is friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. The billing and costs were thoroughly explained, and I always knew what my responsibility would be after my insurance. No surprises. Dr. Lu was excellent. She was the 3rd podiatrist that I have seen in the last 5 years and the best of all. She and her staff take a detailed history to know what your health issues currently are, and how that impacts treatment.

After a thorough examination of my foot, she gave a medical diagnosis that I completely understood. She then offered treatment plans for me to chose. I returned 2 weeks later after discussing my options with my husband. Dr. Lu carefully explained what would happen, how to handle any discomfort, and the time and cost of the process. Within a few visits, my medical problem is gone and I am walking fine. Dr. Lu called after each appointment to ensure I was doing well. In addition I received regular notification of upcoming visits.

It was a great experience from my first visit to my last, and I want to thank everyone at the practice.

Dr Sherry Lu is professional and very knowledgeable with a great bedside manner. I have seen her for different issues with my feet. During each visit, she has always taken time to listen to my concerns and answer questions I may have had. She has always given me an explanation regarding treatment and care for my feet.

Had a really bad ingrown infection to the point I couldn’t walk after having a pedicure done at a nail salon. Dr saw me the following day, was straight to the point and did removal. Dr Lu is the greatest. She has really helped me with my foot injury, when others did not. She is so dedicated, she fought it out with my insurance company to be sure I received the tests I needed. I can recommend her as a fine foot doctor. Her staff members are also very helpful and kind.

Dr. Lu’s approach to foot care involves the whole body – she’s thorough in her assessment including your health history, medications, and she also takes your blood pressure (which I’ve never had a podiatrist do). Dr. Sherry Lu is one of the best podiatrists I have seen. She is excellent in her work as she documents all her findings with measurements and photos so you can see the progress of healing in follow up visits. I have had a right toe ulcer for more than twenty years and seen many podiatrists and none of them measured wound size or taken pictures to document progress. Dr. Sherry Lu is the first podiatrist to recommend using callus softening cream to remove callus. I recommend anyone with diabetes and foot issues to consult her at Charlotte Foot Care Associates.

Dr. Lu fully assessed my potentially fractured foot and went above and beyond to make sure that she diagnosed me correctly. Dr. Lu is amazing and so is the staff. I had an ingrown toenail and it was infected (I was in so much pain) from the time I got there, I was in a room within an hour. I was so scared for the procedure and Dr. Lu called in Ashley for moral support and she held my hand and talked to me to calm me down. The injury I sustained that caused me to come to Charlotte Footcare & Associates, was a hairline fracture in my foot. It was very small and caused an immense amount of pain. Dr. Sherry Lu stared at my X-Rays for several minutes until she found what caused my pain and gave me a great care plan in order to relieve my injury. I’m very thankful for all of the associates at this practice, especially Katherine for all of the care and patience they showed me over the course of the 3-4 months that I was coming here for treatment. I will forever and always give my thanks to this facility and the people who helped me and I will always recommend this place for any foot or ankle related issue!
